Good CPU for Gaming

I would like to know if this CPU will be good for running games at a good FPS the processor is a Intel Core i5 4460 3.20GHz Socket 1150. I would appreciate it if you could help out

Yes. A quad core CPU is what a lot of game system requirements list as the recommended component over a dual core.

That is a good CPU, but if you don't already have a socket 1150 motherboard then you will be better off to get the newest generation i5 like a i5-6400.
This will need a socket 1151 motherboard and ddr4 memory.
