Hi!
I recently bought an asus strix gtx 960 4gb GPU.
But my CPU is bottlenecking the card.
i have an i3 550 cpu.
Please suggest me a good CPU that won't bottleneck the GPU AT ALL.

None of the Tier 1 CPUs from this list will bottleneck your GPU http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-5.html
(including the lastest Intel Skylake CPUs)

I would recommend you either a i5 2500k or an i5 4690k, depending on you budget (although both require you to buy a motherboard with the correct socket). Going for i7 CPUs won't really help you if you only look for gaming performance.

Solution
i5 4460/4590/4690 these are all good to go with your GPU. you can even go with an i3 4170 if your on a tight budget and it would be almost as good but i'd recommend an i5. cause some new games won't let you run on a dual core cpu, even though it's capable of running them.

is there any lga 1156 cpu that won't bottleneck my gpu

an i7-870, or an i5 760 with some overclocking. but i do recommend upgrading your motherboard and get your self an i5 4690 or an i7 4790, or just go Skylake all the way.

Will an i5 4440 or 4460 be alright
because I'm on a tight budget.

yep these are great cpu's
