So i bought a laptop, I know these aren't as good as PCs in gaming but i needed a laptop because i always travel. Its an ASUS ROG STRIX G531GU with i7-9750H, GTX 1660 Ti and 8GB of RAM. It runs many games fine, in CSGO i have 150-200 FPS, in FIFA 20 i have 80-90 FPS, in Forza Horizon 4 i have 60-70 FPS(everything on ultra and 1080p). At some point I installed Battlefield V and i got like 20 fps and very big fps drops...i mean its unplayable. I searched everywhere for a fix and couldnt find any, so I uninstalled it. After some time I bought call of duty modern warfare(2019) and I got the same results as in Battlefield V. I tried then reinstalling windows, and call of duty ran fine for a couple of days then started lagging again. I dont seem to find any fix 🙁

honestly when you only have 80-90 fps in FIFA I'm not surprised you struggle with BF

you should check if you're indeed using the GTX1660Ti as graphics device. laptops often use the iGPU by default and you have to set the 1660Ti for each application.

it was like that with my laptop. I was just aware of it as when I opened the task manager it showed 0% usage of my Nvidia GPU

checked that already 🙁

I found a possible fix...in bios I deactivated VT-d, then in device manager I disabled HPET. Now i have a lot less FPS-drops but still I have 30-40 FPS with everything on ultra. Is it ok for its specs?
Edit:Tested in battlefield V
