Where could I find a good demo for testing the full retail version, so
I can try playing with clock rate, FSB speed, memory configurations,
etc?

Thanks!

How about just recording your own?

There's 3dmark; made for benchmarking just not ut in particular.
3d mark even exports to excel.
When registered 3dmark compares to like systems in the database.

aquamark another benchmark program is similar

I recorded one. I'll up it to alt.binaries.games.unreal. If your
news provider doesn't carry it, we'll work out something else.

ftp://compusmiths.com/UTBench.demo4 is up if anyone wants to give it a
try. I don't pay for a lot of bandwidth, so I've limited the users...
8*)

FWIW, I get (Radeon 9800 Pro with all the eye candy turned way up
high):

512M single channel memory 20 FPS
1G single channel memory 21 FPS
1G dual channel memory 21.5 FPS

I've been having a bit of trouble _underclocking_ my system, but I'll
fiddle some more later.

Everything all the way up... More details when I get home, but
1600x1200(?), all settings at maximum, everything in the video driver
maxed out, etc.

That's 533MHz FSB, yes?

I'll give those a try, though I find I'd much rather have a low frame
rate and lotsa eye candy, especially when the servers don't give me
more than 10-20 updates a second anyway...

1600x1200, 32 bit color, all the options set to their highest level,
all the checkboxes checked, fog distance maximized.

In the driver (Catalyst 4.4):

AA 6X
AF 16X
Texture high
MipMap High
Sync App
TruForm App
no SmartShader (What's that?)

Under <Community> <Demos>, then pop the console to see how many frames
ran I how many seconds...

Hmm, no wonder it's not making much difference, I'll have to run
everything again...

Hmm, not the latest drivers (Catalyst 4.5 released 5/12), and it turns
out that some of my driver settings weren't sticking, so I've got to
start over. Never a dull moment! 8*)

Drop it into your demo directory (under where you have the game
installed) and goto <Community> <Demos>

Open up your console (tilde key) and type in 'demoplay
utbench?timedemo' without the quotes. It will take over from there.
Once the demo finishes, open up the console again to find your average
framerate.
