Good download speed/bad upload speed

i have an upload speed of just over 12 mb/s and a upload speed of 0.63 mb/s, is there any way of improving my upload speed even if it reduces download speed??

This will depend totally on your network provider. If they don't guarantee a minimum upload speed, you may be hosed.
What provider do you use and what service are you signed up for? What download and upload speeds, if any, are specified with the service?
