Some of the parents of students in my summer film classes ask for
advice on getting stuff for their kids to use at home (They're using
Vegas for editing). In class we're using PD150's for DV (most of what
we do though is film) which is on the expensive end. I'm looking for
a DV camera for around $1k (BH, Abes, etc.) that will produce fairly
good video, manual white/colre balance, zebra, etc..

Any recommendations would be very welcome.

Thanks,

Go for the BEST, most featured SONY DV camcorder and you won't go wrong...
