i'm gonna use my computer to rip DVDs... and i'm thinking of buying a new Graphic card...

i'm leaning toward to leadtek GF3 ti 200 128 mb..
but i'm noticing that ti200 128mb cost only 10 bucks more than ti200 64mb..

so i'm thinking maybe there's some kind of reason why 128mb is so cheap compare to 64 mb.

and is GF3 (leadtek) ti200 good enough for DVD ripping??

and do i need a decode card also?
Edited by taiwoong on 01/22/02 03:36 AM.

I've got a ti200. It does the job admirably. Your CPU will take a lot of the strain when decoding. I got an athlon running at 1.5 and it takes about 3-5 hours to decode an 80min movie.
Have a look at this page. It's full of info on how to back up your DVDs: dvd backup guide
