Good Enough Build For A 4+ Years?

Solution
That's a solid 1440p build.

However, looking ahead 4+ years, there's really no way to know.

The 1080 should still be more than respectable in 4 years time though -- look back 4 years.... the comparable card was a 980 (wow, that was almost 4 years ago!), or a 780 before that. Still respectable cards today -- but definitely dropping more the "medium" territory, for cards that were once "high/Ultra". Obviously those don't directly compare for 1440p, but will give you a good idea how that will hold up.

Some points though.
1. BF/CM are used to clear out old stock/less demanded products. Most of your components are the latest Gen, and are unlikely to see any real reductions on BF/CM.
2. BF/CM is still ~5 months away - too far out...

3. A 1070TI w/OC will rival a 1080 @ stock, for cheaper - might be worth consdiering.
4. Rumors put the next Gen Nvidia cards to launch Jul-Aug.... so if you're not planning on buying right away, you may have a whole new Gen of cards to consider.
