So, I finally got enough money to build a desktop, it is not much, but since I pretty much most of the time play games like Rocket League, Overwatch and CS:GO, and ocassionally some heavier game I have, I think an R5 1400 + 1050 Ti combo be enough, right? I might even consider the 1060 3GB since the price difference is about 30€, but not the 6GB version since it is 130€ more and breaks my budget. I also plan to streaming once and a while but since I will use NVENC codec, even the 1050 Ti will be able to deal with it with no problem right? I don't think an R5 1600 will be needed here, but let me know your opinions please.

Well... The extra cores on the R5 1600 will indeed help, but how much I'm not sure.
As to the games you mentioned above, the 3GB 1060 is enough. But AAA games are more and more demanding when it comes to needing VRAM. So plan ahead if possible. If you're the type that goes for the lowest quality settings in hopes of getting the highest frame rates, then VRAM won't be an issue.

Not only those games, but more demanding games. The Ryzen 5 1400 and GTX 1050 Ti should be good for 60 fps @ 1080p in those games using ultra settings. Btw, If the 6GB 1060 busts your budget, the 3GB is still a big leap above the 1050 Ti.

Yeah I dont think the extra 2 cores would mean that much since I will be hardware encoding the stream and the GPU leap would be way better. For these type of games, 3GB of VRAM is more than enough right?
