Hi,

I think it depends a little bit on your overall cooling system and environment of your computer.

In the thread in the link (https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/safe-temp-for-gtx-1050ti.3239985/ ) it was discussed what a safe temperature for the GTX 1050 Ti is. Personally, I would make sure that your graphic cards fans are at 100% speed when 80°C are reached.

If your curve has a positive curvature, the system will be quieter in normal use (browsing, writing, etc). However, the GPU will work at higher temperatures in heavy use which may lead to a shorter lifetime.

If your curve has a negative curvature, the system will be louder in normal use. In heavy use, it will cool stronger and therefore the GPU will work at lower temps.

I am afraid I can't give you concrete numbers about lifetime. To be save, I would recommend you the second option.

Best,
Pascal
