If this is a 1080p gaming machine then yeah those are are basically the parts you want. The only things I would change are , the psu and the case. Instead of what you've got listed, I'd suggest the evga G2 750w 80+ Gold Edition PSU and the NZXT S340 Mid Tower Case. Both are excellent and match very well with your parts.

If this rigs primary focus is gaming, i would take $100 from your cpu and put it toward your graphics card. the GTX970/R9 290X range cards are on the lower end of what i would consider "future proof".
