Good Gaming Build?

Solution
I'd actually suggest a H100i or H105 for the CPU cooler. The Hyper 212 is still a solid choice for some moderate overclocking.

1600mhz is the point of diminishing returns for RAM. 1866 is still okay, but higher won't get better FPS. Source: http://youtu.be/dWgzA2C61z4

The H440 is a very sexy case, however its airflow isn't that great. I'd suggest the Enthoo Pro at that price range: http://youtu.be/cBhmn21ylkc
If aesthetics concern you, look at the Corsair 750D as well.

going to want a decent cooler to OC the 4690K (or else no point in getting K version or DDR3-2133) and don't cheap out on the power supply.

@DonkeyOatie, I'd guess that he already has a HDD. If not, it's not recommended to only have a 250GB SSD. Either have a single 1TB HDD or get the SSD and HDD: install your OS and programs on the SSD and keep your other files on the HDD (but I think you should already know that).

Just in case. Some OPs need to know that SSDs don't work the same as HDDs and a decent amount of free space must be left for the best performance.

I take OPs at face value too. No HDD was mentioned, so I'm sure they will chime in now if they have one.

your question about oveclocking is good. It's important to know just how much they want to try.

OK. Now for the recommendations

CPU: OK
CPU cooler. I would not go to fluid. If you want to do it for personal or aesthetic reasons, OK, but I think air is better. For some PC cases with poor heat flow, fluid will mitigate that problem by moving the radiator outside.
Motherboard: There are many good choices, this is one of them. Make sure that the feature set meets your needs.
Memory: I'd use this : http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f314900cl8d8gbxm 1866, but CAS 8

I'm good with everything else. The PC case is a personal choice. I might choose something else. Make sure it will fit everything you want. Check out reports of poor thermal flow and decide if you can live with that. Looks are fine, but not at the cost of having your computer melt :)
