I have an NVidia GF4 FX5200 Ultra, Assylum. I like it but I have a friend
interested in buying it off me and I would like to upgrade to a newer card.
How much should I sell the 5200 for? Then what would be Nividia's best
"Bang For The Buck" card. Noise doesn't matter, looks don't matter, but
qualtity and such do.

Looking at performance, if it's a FX5200Ultra..maximal 50 bucks if it's a NU
maximal 30 bucks!

What you might wish to buy for yourself.. a FX5900XT, a heavily underclocked
FX5900 NU capable in many cases to run at FX5900U speeds! ( if you replace
the cooling )

There is to my knowledge no such thing as a GF4 FX5200. Either its some
form of GF4, or its an FX 5200. Look at teh FX 5700 or higher series of
cards and spend as much as you can.

There is according to a Google search. Some companies have started calling
their cards Geforce4 FX5xxx. As if the Nvidia naming scheme wasn't
confusing enough already 😉

A Geforce 4 Ti4800 would smoke that FX5200..... and its older, never
get the lowest in the series. a 5700 or 5900-5950 are great... Gaming
cards are expensive but worth it.
