i have been looking for a good gaming laptop for around $700 and could not really find any, does anybody have any suggestions?

Solution
I would have suggested the lenovo y510p also with dual 750M's. If you can find one used on Ebay, that would game well. just keep in mind 2 GPUs will be power hungry so don't expect to game long when not tethered to a wall.

honestly? buy a used one. for $700, you're just not likely to find anything with sufficient GPU for gaming.

For gaming you need a GPU - any used laptop with a higher end, discrete GPU will do... though as with everything else - the more you pay the better it can perform.

Hard to give an actual model# as prices and availability of things will depend on where you live. A used XYZ laptop near me doesn't do you any good if you are across an ocean.

The MSI CX61 2PC-499US 15.6-Inch Laptop http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ISKS4A2/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00ISKS4A2&linkCode=as2&tag=newtomshardware-20&linkId=VTMYBSDTECE24PCS
It has :
Intel Core i5-4200M 2.5 GHz
8 GB DDR3L RAM
750 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen; NVIDIA Geforce GT820M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM
Windows 8.1
5-6 hours battery life

That's your best option in that budget area... It has a great processor for gaming, a good dedicated graphics card, 8 GB RAM which is ideal for any gaming, a 750 GB hard drive which is good... As well as an excellent battery life.

The Lenovo gaming laptops are about the best bang for the buck out there. The Y50 and Y510p are the current gen. They're a bit out of your price range though. The older Y500 could be configured with dual 750m GPUs in SLI. You may be able to find a used one in your price range. Just be aware that Lenovo used the Y500 name on their laptops with both the 650m and 750m, and you may run across a seller trying to pawn off a 650m model as a 750m.

You may not be happy with the screen however. Can't have everything if you're aiming for a low price.

You may be able to pick up a Y510p with a 750m or 755m from Lenovo's outlet store for around $700-$800. But an older Y500 with dual-750m will out-perform it.

that list is terrible. Not one of them has a dedicated GPU. If you wrote that, then you need to do more research.
