This thread is for my brother and his budget he said is something like £1000 - £2000.

Please give useful info.

Don't have any recommendations, but you should ask him to think hard about getting a laptop. While it does offer much increased portability, the graphics, processing capability, and upgradeability are all very inferior to a desktop PC. If he doesn't move around that much, I'd very much say get a nice gaming rig instead.

edit: Actually (assuming you're from the UK, I used the UK amazon site), this looks like a very nice one if you're going to end up getting a laptop: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-17-w200na-i7-7700HQ-Dedicated-Graphics/dp/B01N0ST9AP/

I agree but he wants a laptop.

None the less, thanks

In terms of Laptop, what is he looking for?
Something very easy to carry around? (for example to get it to school every day)
Or something that will be mostly at home? (a desktop replacement?).
Does he know what screen size he wants? (14,15.6, 17.3).
What games does he play? at what resolution?

We need a lot more information to give you a good answer.

Info is great, but laptop was preferred here sir :)
