i don't understand anything about the components so any help would be much appreciated, but the computer would mostly be used for gaming and light work (office, internet)

and there will be an ssd disk in the first one, with amd cpu. Just forgot adding it. it would also be the crucial 256gb.

I would go for the second build, but with an i5-4460 and an ASUS h97 motherboard. No point in getting the i5-4690k unless you are going to overclock it.

Both builds are more than good enough for gaming, but the community tends to favor i5 CPU's over AMD's FX CPU's.
