Good gaming pc for under 1500 dollars

I am new to building computers, and tomshardware.com but i heard it was wonderful. I would love some help on parts to buy for building my new machine. I would like to run 2 or 3 monitors without lag if at all possible. i would also like to video edit, not to a great extent but i would like the option. Thank you much guys

Here are my opinions on a few things

1. SSD doesn't add to system value as it does not improve gaming performance. Unless u have the extra few bucks to spend on the ssd its not helping you.
U r better off investing in better Graphics. As much as u can afford.

2.Since u want to run multiple monitors if u r looking at high resolutions and single card configuration ur best bet would be a 6950 2GB or a 6970.
AMDs solution are better for multi monitor setups.

If u dont mind multiple GPU configs 2 X 6950 2GBs would be awesome. The 6 series CF scaling is great.
