Good gaming rig?

Solution
Good spec in that build. It's very similar to my upgrade plans as far as CPU, GPU, RAM, and MB (except for brands), but price is not good at all. As stated GPU (and also RAM) prices have even prebuilt prices going sky high.

If you refuse to build your own, which I too feel is a better option, at least pay a good price for a prebuilt. HP has builds with an i5-7400 and 1060 3GB starting at $625, which is very affordable for such spec.

No one knows how long this latest mining craze will affect prices, so at the very least it would hold you over until it passes.
