get i5 2400 if you dont OC, and a compatible 1155 socket motherboard. you will save money and get better performance than by going with 1366. seriously, you will save easily $250 this way on mobo/cpu/ram. with x58 you are paying big bucks for things that wont improve your gaming performance, such as triple channel memory.

get windows 7 home edition 64-bit, it is cheaper and just as good (for gaming anyway)

it is all a matter of prefernce, but you can get an equally good case for about $50 if you look around. if you dont plan on crossfire later on, you can get by with a 600 watt power supply.

I plan on cross firing later on so Im gonna stick with the power supply , Ok let me make a change to my question I want to use this computer to watch movies , game extremely like maxed out graphics on everything) and I want to also make youtube videos and edit them , im worried about the future though with the lga 1155 socket because the 6 core i7 980 is lga 1366 and I know 6 core isn't really used now , this is my first time building a rig and I know about 25 % about computers so Idk what to do and I like the haf 932 cause of the massive aircooling and large room for upgrades so I7 2600 k , i5 2500k
or i7 960 and what kind of ram people please reply thanks so much also Do i need a sound card once again thanks

lga 1366 is not getting any more new processors. lga1155 may still get ivy bridge prcoessors (next generation). lga1366 is already a dead end socket. sandy bridge i5/i7 have more processing power than any game can ever want. you can wait for lga 2011 to be released later this year if you want.

if you dont overclock you wont need massive aircooling, and even a midiszed tower can take any upgrades. but cases are really all a matter of preference.

dont need a sound card, but I would get nice high quality speakers/headset.

Also i hope you either have or are getting a nice 1080p monitor.

thanks and i am getting a 1080p monitor and I won't have the money for the computer until October so should I just wait for lga 2011 even though my budget for processor is 300 and same with motherboard thanks actually nvm that I will stick with lga 1155 especially if lga 2011 gets 8 cores cause games are just starting to utilize 4 cores anyway Ill just get an lga 1155 board and overclock but the question is i7 2600k or i5 2500k and will sandybrige i5/i7 have more then enough to edit videos and crap like that thanks

ok, sandy bridge-Extreme (lga 2011) is expectd to have some really high prices, with the processors alone starting at $300, maybe $500 and going up to $1000. it will have quad channel memory, and the motherboard and ram will also cost you alot. I think lga 1155 will be a more cost-effective choice if you ask me, or wait for ivy bridge (march 2012)

I feel the pricing you have mentioned are wrong.
You can save some money by getting combos :

CPU & Optical Drive : $228- i5-2500K & Asus DRW B4 (Great Processor & Decent DVD Writer)

Motherboard & SSD : $230- Gigabyte GA Z68X & OCZ Agility 3 64 GB ( SLI/Crossfire capable motherboard )

OS : $95- Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64bit)

RAM : $75- GSkill Sniper (2X 4GB) ($15 off with promo code)

Power Supply: $135- Corsair Enthusiast TX850 (Capable of powering two cards )

Graphic Card:$560(2X $280)- MSI Twin Frozr II 6950 ( Great Card for its price )

HDD: $60-Seagate Barracuda 1TB or Samsung Spinpoint 1TB

Case : $90- Cooler MAster Storm Enforcer (Great Case)

Monitor: $200- Asus VE248H 24" LED Backlit 1920X1080

Total (Excluding Rebates) : 1678 USD

Rebates : 30 USD

This build should give you enough power to game with everything turned up.
