Good gaming/video editing build?

Except they'll charge him full retail price when it comes out in a couple months.

Minecraft doesn't really like AMD cpus.

So here's what I did, Cheaper mobo, but you get an i5. Cheaper case, and a better cheaper PSU to make up the cost difference. (Corsair makes bad PSUs at the low-end and makes suckers out of people who think their brand name = quality)

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($173.95 @ SuperBiiz)...

Get rid of OS, put saved money towards a better GPU (like a 280x) if you want. Use Windows 10 Preview, its great

Yes, but do you have good reasons for wanting an ATX motherboard? Do you know why you would even want one?

I just wanted to make sure I have enough sata ports, also do you know if that micro board comes with sata cables if so it should work.

The MATX and ATX both have the same number of sata ports. How many do you need? The only difference between them is the number of PCI slots. If you need more HDD space you can just get a bigger HDD. The both come with 4 ports. Two 3GB/s and two 6 GB/s ports. Not that you can really use the 6 GBs anyways, as CPUs can't really write that fast. At least not consumer grade ones.

And yes the motherboards come with 2 sata cables.

So should i then connect the optical drive to the sata 3GB/s since theres only 2 6GB/s sata ports also with the mirco atx case will my gpu fit.

yes, everything is already compatible, I already checked. That's why you asked us to make one for you.
