Question Good GPU low fps

Hello there people i got an issue with my PC that a get low fps on low end game like "league of legends" "valorant" i used to have a 1050 2gb but then people told me that my card is outdated so i upgraded but didnt get a big change i still get 100 fps/120 in game like LOL wanted to ask what is wrong am not really an expert in these things plus my FPS is unstable jumps from 144 to 90 when anything pops on my screen "during gameplay" and i just got my self a new CPU fan and i use MSI after burner to keep my GPU temp in-check.

Specs:CPU:Intel I7-7700 3.60ghz
RAM:16GB
GPU:Nvidia RTX 2060 Super 8gb
Screen:144hz asus pg248q
and yes i just formated my PC plus all of my GPU drivers are up to date may someone help me Thanks .

all of my games are installed on SSD my C and f drives are SSDs only D is HDD
keep in mind the game am playing is called valorant it has a very low requirements so why dose my fps keep droping
