Good gpu to go with core i7 7700

I'm planning to get a 7700 to build a new pc for myself but I don't know what GPU to get. I saw online people were pairing it with a 1060 or 1070. And I'm mostly going to game on this pc at 1080p. I also want to keep it under 2,000 dollars for it

For 1080p a GTX 1070 would work just fine.
The higher the resolution the better card you need you could even use a GTX 180ti with it if you wish.

With the insane prices of gpu’s right now, would recommend waiting on a build.

If only 1080p/60 the 1060 6gb is fine. Dont think would go above 1070 unless you plan a monitor upgrade.
