Im in the process of buying a laptop but not sure what to get just something with a good screen size large memory and good graphics card.

Do you have a laptop? Or are you going to buy one with a discrete mobile GPU?

Check out those articles. In the Graphics Hierarchy list, look for "Mobile" chips.

And as far as screens go, if you're trying to do some gaming, look for screens with the highest native resolution (1920x1080 is ideal). 15-17" is best.
