[SOLVED] Good graphics card for vr

I currently have an Rx 580 gaming x 8gb graphics card, not the best if you want to do vr. I wanted to upgrade it anyway but I also want to do vr. I was thinking about the Radeon 5700 xt, but I found out it doesn’t do well under vr. So, I have been looking for a while and I keep finding a lot of articles that keep saying different things, That the Radeon 5700 xt is best for vr, 2060 is good for budget but 2070 if you want good vr, 2060 and 2070 similar in vr, the gtx 1070 is better than the 20** series. A lot of different opinions and I have been looking for literally 2 hours to find a benchmark to compar graphics cards in vr, but as far as I know it doesn’t exist. The rest of my pc can run vr pretty well, I just need to find a graphics card. My budget is around $400 but maybe $500 if extremely necessary, I’m on a tight budget. I already picked out the oculus rift s (notify me if that was the good choice, I’m still kind of iffy on that). So can I get some vr graphics card suggestions/advice and/or a benchmark that compares cards in vr?

Thanks, so the Radeon 5700 xt is good at vr? Better than the Rx 2060? Because most websites and videos I watch say the Radeon 5700 xt isn’t the best option for vr.

Most of the current gen. cards both from NVidia and AMD are pretty good for VR. The 5700 does look good on paper. Haven't experienced it personally though.

I have looked and found very recent car benchmarks, it looks like the Radeon 5700 xt is between the 2070 xt and 2070 super is most and 2060 and 2060 super an a few other games. Could someone please confirm or deny, this was only one website that I found.

There is no 2070xt, unless you are referring to the Xtreme version.

I don’t know... I looked for about an hour on the web and my history but I can’t find it. All I want to know is how the Radeon 5700 xt does in vr, and If I should get the rtx 2060 super or Radeon 5700 xt.

The 5700xt has just been launched a while ago. Its still not fully released as you can only get the Blower Style cards currently, which are not recommended until you have a very small mITX build. The Open-Air style cards are yet to come. So, not a lot of VR reviews are available right now. But based on some stock benchmarks, the 2060 Super seems better in VR...

Now, remember that these are synthetic benchmarks which kind of shows you a general picture but might not be precisely applicable in real world performance. Also, AMD is known to improve its driver performance over time.
