An I3 will handle it as long as he gets a proper GPU for gaming and an SSD for his main drive to speed things up a bit.

It won't be too bad.

A GTX 1050 would...

I try to play games like brick rigs and GTA V. I don't have an unlimited budget like you guys, I am in fact not very wealthy and am 14. Please don't make fun of my system, as it is all I can afford.

It's not making fun of it, it's just the truth really.

News flash... NOBODY has an unlimited budget.

It's below min specs for GTA 5.

You need a new graphics card.

The GT 730 is NOT a gaming card.

And ideally an SSD, that would speed things up, a 250GB SSD like this one for the main drive.

The goal here was never to make fun of your system or to belittle your budget. We do however, have to point out the facts. And for a game like GTA V, you are far below even the minimum specs. It’s mainly your processor, especially for modern games which use more cores/threads than older games. And the above post is correct, the 730 is just not intended for gaming.

A GTX 1050 would work OK.

An I5 CPU would be perfect.

Like this one from EBAY for $33, look up Core i5-3470S 2.9GHz, good prices now on used ones.

So for a total of $219 he could upgrade it, CPU, GPU and SSD and have a nice little system that would perform a lot better than what he has now.

But he can get away with just a new GPU and SSD for now, or GPU and CPU.
