So I am looking for a dedicated game hard drive. I use USB drives for storage and have 2 other internals but all loaded up with music movies etc.. Im just gonna use this for games.
Not sure whats thought of as good for that. The WD black, blue etc.. Or if it even makes a big difference.
I was thinking SSD but that doesn't look like it does much for games other than load time plus your paying twice as much for half the space.
But then again im thinking smaller is better I doubt Id fill say a 4tb drive and even if I got a 1 tb I usually focus on 1 game and could just reinstall as most games come from steam. SO maybe a SSD would be good. Just don't know
So if anyone can let me know what features to look for in a gaming hard drive Id appreciate it. Either way if it makes a difference or not in gaming im getting a new dedicated gaming drive just to unclutter main drive
