I have 300 dollars to spend on headphones. I don't mind if they have a mic or not cause I can always get an external one. However, I will be gaming and listening to music with them. I want something durable with a nice manufacturers warranty. I previously owned Siberia v2 headset and the mic went dead after a year and the right side of the headset is not working anymore. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thank You!

I know i'm willing to spend alot but it's cause I want a headset that will last a long time. I loved these siberia v2 but the headset started to mess up shortly after the manufacturer warranty rolled around. I was thinking about v moda m100

The reviews on it look good as well as it comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty.
I know amazon offers a warranty on most products bought through them so the corsair 1500s don't look that bad.

You might want to look into the Sennheiser HD series headphones. The HD 598 or HD 600 are very high quality apparently. I'm getting the HD 598 soon. Note that they're dedicated headphones and if you want a microphone you'd have to purchase an attachable one.

Headsets don't usually come near to the sound quality that dedicated headphones provide, so if you're all over that then the Sennheiser's will beat any of the gimmicky headsets that come with microphones attached.

I doubt a good attachable microphone costs $100, but I dunno I've never looked into them even though I'm looking for a good set to attach to my headphones when I get mine.
