Good idle temp

Just fired up my computer I built and I'm getting a 34-38c idle temperature, I have an FX8150 and Corsair H100, is there anything I gotta worry about?

That idle should be just fine. More importantly, what are your CPU temps at load?

And most importantly, what are your ambient room temps?
30'c idle would be bad if your room was 10'c for example

You need to use core temp to see your current temperature on idle and how higher its on load.
To load your processor use prime95.
Cause I think you have good temp

Alright I'll check the temps with the load and post when I get the results! Room temp was maybe 75F

24'C room temp, so you're not actually getting bad temps there, room for improvement maybe but certainly nothing to worry about

No, he means run P95 to put your cpu under maximum stress,
but you would use realtemp, coretemp or hardwaremonitor to actually monitor the temperatures

Ok I have to update my bios and install my OS and I'll post temps

ok so lowest idle temp was 9c and the highest under 100% load was 39c

Ok the 9'C reading is wrong, but 39'C under load is a very good temperature, do the other programs and bios all say the same?

yeah average idle temp is 22c-28c

Thats an average/good idle, no cause for concern man
seems like your H100's paste has a curing time on it, and its settled in now
You would like your Cpu to idle at around 10-15'C above ambient ordinarily on a liquid-based cooler and you seem to be about right so relax and enjoy your build mate
