Good Internet but high latency

I have recently been playing a lot of Battlefield 4. I had it connected to ethernet and everything was good. I moved my PC upstairs and connected to the wifi. All of a sudden my latency shot up to the point the game was 100% unplayable. My Internet shows 4 bars and when I go to the wifi speed test it says my ping is only 25 and my download speed is 50 - 60 Mbps. Everything runs smooth until I try to game and my latency gets horrible please help. It's also the same server as I played on ethernet.

sounds like your wifi router is garbage.
You need a better one.
