good keyboard for gaming? Saitek Eclipse II

Is the Saitek Eclipse II a good keyboard for gaming, it seems pretty solid and I like the illuminated keys, Any experience, opinions, or suggestions? btw, this is probably pretty close to all that I want to spend on a keyboard, I could spend a little more, but not $100

It's a membrane keyboard, and lights won't make a difference to your gaming.

Gamers should be using mechanical keyboards.

I could recommend a few, but it's better you look through them yourself and see what you like.

Mechanical keyboards come with different key switches too, to feel will differentiate. Blue is my favorite feeling of them all.

It's not mechanical. The difference is mechanical keyboard use mechanical switches for each key instead of membrane pad under the keys.

Once you use a mechanical, you never want to use a normal keyboard again. They are a bit more expensive, but well worth the cost.
