Good laptop for ~$800-$900

Hi, I'm looking for a decent laptop to download pictures on and do some light photo editing.

I've been looking at the HP Envy 17-j029nr

It's $979 after the discount, but was hoping for something a little more economical without sacrificing too much... if cheaper, even better.

What I'd like, in order of importance:
17" HD monitor
i7 intel (possibly i5)
8 GB Memory (or 6 GB)
graphics card
backlit keyboard

Is the HP a decent deal or should I be looking at something else? Thanks for the help.

It doesn't have a GPU, just Intel's iGPU. It should be enough if you are planning in light gaming and photo editing.
