Hopefully someone can help me out here because I'm having difficulty finding decent HSFs that aren't either huge towers or very expensive (ussually they are both). What I would like to find costs <$30 and meets the following requirements:

1. LGA775 Compatible
2. Shortish (fit in X-Qpack case)
3. Fit on Abit F-I90HD mobo without problem
4. Mobo Mounts NOT required (X-Qpack doesn't have them)
5. Lightweight (this is my LAN Party machine, it must survive frequent car trips)
6. Better cooling than stock Pentium D 820 HSF (Thinking about grabbing a cheap OEM 805 or 820 to play with for a bit while I wait for price cuts)

Optional:
7. Better Cooling than stock e4300 HSF
8. Flan blows straight down into HSF or can be configured to pull air from the side (no weird agles or front-to-back flow, would make ducting mod very difficult)

I also have a Thermalright XP-90 I think would fit but I would have to buy a adapter for it and a new HSF for the s478 P4 northwood that it's sitting on now. I was just pondering the prices on OEM CPUs and how much I might want to replace the e4300's HSF anyway. Any ideas?

It would be possible to mod the case to fit a large tower HSF in it, but it would destroy my mobo while in trasit so that's really a no-go.

With a 25mm fan on it it's about 6.5mm too tall (I think, going to double check when I get home). Replacing the fan with a 92x92x20mm might not quite do the trick, but I could use an 80x80x15 or move the fan further up in the duct or maybe I can just bend the support bar get get the 2mm clearance.

Oh, and you're all useless btw 😛 I should go find a good forum where other people actually build SFFs... I feel like I'm the only one here.
