Solution mcnumpty23 Apr 18, 2017 Kjnkid : i have a MSI z270 m5 MB shouldnt be a problem then but as said you wont see a great difference over a 2.5 ssd like an 850 evo its when you have a second device as fast as the m2 to copy to/from that m2 drives kill a 2.5 ssd

How often do you reboot your PC / day ? M.2 are for people who transfer large files regularly i.e content creators or people who have ran out of SATA ports Average Joe won't see or feel any difference at all. Upvote 0 Downvote

All the others are in no way faster then a SATA SSD. So a Samsung EVO SATA ssd is going to perform better then any "budget" m2 will. Upvote -1 Downvote
