Good Monitor to use with GTX1080

I'm getting an "EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING" on my birthday and right now I have a 32" 1080p monitor which looks crap. I'd like some suggestions for good monitors under $500CAD that would go well with the GPU. I'm really into OCing and would like too see your most crazy 1080 OC's.

I have a Samsung uhd 28" 4k@60hz monitor that I really enjoy with my 1080. Looks great and fits my needs well. got a great deal on it too
