Hey guys so im planning to build PC and i'm stuck with motherboards.

I will build 1440p resolution PC and I will go with Acer Predator XB270HU monitor,GTX 980 ti and i7 4790k,16GB RAM.
So motherboard has to have 4 slots for DDR3 RAM beacuse I already have 2x4GB DDR3
I dont plan to go SLI CROSSFIRE or overclocking so I just want a cheap motherboard with no bottleneck and maximum support for GPU CPU RAM

Help me please guys what motherboard should I buy to get nice performance with no bottleneck?

Solution

You said "no bottleneck and maximum support for GPU CPU RAM".

The Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H motherboard is only good at overclocking the Pentium G3258 processor that too after a BIOS update. To see the full potential of i7 4790K you need a better motherboard. As the one I suggested is right now out of stock, consider either of these:

DO yourself a favor and steer clear of that motherboard. Gigabyte has kept the name but changed the power design and VRM.

Just get the mmotherboard that has the features you want and will probably use. There is a lot of good motherboards using LGA 1150 socket. The Motherboard itself does not really affect performance in games . If your doing some overclocking then you might want a MB with "some weight to it" like Asus TUF series. Though mind some of the features found on other Z97 and H97 boards like M.2 Sata. Food for thought
