Looking for a black-red, black-white, or white LGA1150 motherboard. A matx 4dimm would be nice, but a standard atx will do. Any suggestions sirs?

This is the least expensive, new, z97 board that actually HAS heatsinks on the VRM components, which you will definitely want with that i7 especially if you do any overclocking. It also happens to be black and red.

Anything else of decent quality that's still around will all be NOS (New old stock) and are generally in the 180 dollar and up category. Most those used to be in the 120-150 dollar category but since they are End of life, they can pretty much ask whatever they want for them now since there is very little supply, no new incoming stock and still people looking for or needing...
You're going to be pretty limited, and they are going to be expensive, since LGA 1150 motherboards are End of Life and are not being manufactured anymore. In fact, most manufacturing on them stopped about two years ago. From what's still available the selection and availability is slim, and since there are still people using and buying these now legacy systems, the few that are remaining are not cheap.

Are you looking for new or used? Is this a new build you are doing or are you just looking for a replacement board for a CPU you already have?

Yup, I expected as much.
New-ish build. Long-story-short, I found an unopened, unused, and no damage i7-4770k in my parents garage. And I'm planning to like build a decent gaming rig for my brother with a theme, any suggestions? And yeah new or used, as long as it fits the theme.

If you don't require it to be capable of overclocking you can always use an H97 board, but they are in just as short of supply as the Z97 and not much, if any cheaper.

Thanks for the help! imma try to look for H and Z97 boards.

if there still out there look at asus sabertooth mb. there two of them one with the full cover and a cheaper one without. pick up the cheaper one without the dust cover. there also an artic sabertooth that was made. i would go with a black mb and red dimms. i would then look at the newer evo 212 led heat sink. set the fan to red. i would then pick up a black case with side window. put red led fans in it and red led strip around the glass if you want it real bright. trick with build not to over do it with lights to wash out the mb.

They're about 250-350 bucks right now for a new one. Over 100 bucks for a used one. Good boards if you can get one that's not been abused. I have had two ASUS Z97 Sabertooth boards and an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx. All of them were fantastic, solid boards. I'm rather leery of the used ones on Ebay though.
