good multifunction printer?

I think you'll find everyone has a printer manufacturer that they prefer. Yes that model should be just fine for home use from what I can tell. The specs are pretty impressive.

If you can't make up your mind about it, grab a photo (or photo card with photos on it if you have one) and run down to a local retailer that has a demo on the floor and try it out. Most retailers won't care if you do this and may even provide the supplies. If they won't let you, go somewhere else. Compare it to other models and see what you like best. In the end, pick a model that best fits your needs and one that you find easy to use. Nobody on this forum can decide those things for you.
