hi all!
i want to build myself a new pc and its time to choose the case.
by googling all websites including this one offer "best gaming" cases with RGB.
ill be honest: i HATE all this stupid lights that make pc looks like a dance club in my room.
also im not a huge fan of crawling under the table to connect keyboard, mouse, headset, phone and etc etc etc...

what im looking for:
Mid-tower (bigger just wont fit)
with good protection against dust and cats hairs.
easy to clean.
easy to do cable arrangement.
doesnt have lights or case that doesnt cost a lot because of lights.
rich front panel more than 2 usb slots.
front panel that isnt on the top of the case (in case something fall on the pc and get stuck in the slot)
and wide enough for my Noctua NH-D15 (right now i cant close my case from the side cause the fan is sticking out)

Solution
What is the size requirement for the case?
You can buy a more compact case if you will buy a M-ATX sized motherboard.
It will have only 4 expansion slots. How many do you need.
One of the most compact cases is the silverstone TJ-08E.
15.16" x 8.27" x 14.72"

I have used one for a very long time.
The front has a washable filter which is easy to remove and clean.
I have cats too. I need to clean the filter about twice a year.
Cable management is just ok, nothing special.
One nice feature of this case is a cpu cooler support mechanism that supports the weight of a heavy cooler.
The front 180mm fan works well. I only run it at half speed.
The case...

This doesn't paint the entire picture. NH-D15 has a height of 165mm, with ram clearance of 32mm. Taller modules will force the front fan to be raised for every millimeter above that.
Knowing what your ram is also matters here.

The case has two 5.25" front panel bays.
You can install a front panel with all sorts of usb and other slots if you wish.
The NH-D15 needs 165mm which the case supports.
And, Since you are not a fan of rgb(neither am I), why not buy simple low profile ram like the corsair lpx?
