does anyone have any NWN websites that help explain the game, and
character creation, and things like that? not walkthroughs, just the
mechanics of the game and suggestions before starting...

I think www.planetneverwinter.com has what you're looking for, but I'm not
sure.

I've been looking there, but it seems like a lot of that info was
written before NWN was even released.
