Hey all, i am looking for a good overclocking motherboard that has both agp and pcie on it. I have a 9800xt and a a64 3000 (939) that i have hit 2.6 before, and basically, my asus a8v is holding me back (voltage) and i don't want to upgrade to a new video card (pcie) until the 32 pipeline version of the r520 is out. i have read a lot on both via and uli having chipsets made for doing this and they both were supposed to be out on the a64 platform in February, but so far the only boards i can find are for the Intel platform. except for the BIOSTAR NF4UL-A9, which is not high end enough for me.

I would prefer an nvidia or via chipset. any suggestions or ideas on a time frame?

so then you mean to stick with agp and forget about pcie?

no, pci-e is the eventuality, but when you want to move you will just have to buy a new mobo because the two-types are sucktacular

Don't upgrade anything until the r520 is out. Then you can pick up a PCIe board and PCIe card at the same time.
