Good PC build for 60fps 1080p Ultra Setting for most games?

I'm looking for a good build that can

-Play most games a comfortable 60fps or preferably higher

-Run a comfortable 60fps on a 1080p screen

-A budget of 900$

-I don't need peripherals like keyboard, mouse, screen, etc.

-OS not needed either

-I do plan on recording, I'm willing to lower settings or res to 720p though when the situation calls for it. On that note, I do wish for the build to be suited for it.

I care most about performance for cheapest cost.

Went with a Xeon over a i5 because the Xeon has hyperthreading, which will help with streaming and editing.

Get the i5. It will be plenty for streaming and recording. 8gb RAM is plenty too. Ge the bet GPU you can like the first build posted. a 750ti is not a good card for the machine. Spending money on high end motherboards/CPUcoolers/big old cases is pointless when the money would be better spent on a better GPU. I strongly recommend the first build and recommend against the second one.

This will give the best performance, I think a little to much was put towards the case considering the amount of extra power you can get in this with that money. You have an unlocked cpu, future SLI options(that will require a beefier psu then this) and an SSD.

Archgaull i'm sorry to say but that build is pretty awful, 750 ti is quite weak especially at this budget, I can understand why you choose 16gb ram but really the money is better spent elsewhere. I respect the xeon but why put a cpu cooler on a locked cpu? why Z77 and not a newer board it's not like that was any cheaper. The psu is fine but nothing better then fine.

And my last and final point, why 1/9th of the budget spent on the case?

I would be more in favour of the SSD over the overclocking, personal preferance there but I would find more performance in the SSD then in the extra few hundred mhz you get. I would have included one if it didn't go over budget but if op willing to go over a little it would be a great extra.

It really does make a difference, OS and programs are so much smoother with one.

Windows is a LOT more faster with an SSD, but if only he downgrades the mobo or adds an extra $65

It could go down to a H81 board but you would lose the extra 2 ram slots which are nice for upgrade purposes.

No not at all. Overclocking is a hobby, not a necessity. In many games it doesn't even give any real difference in FPS at all, and in most games the difference is VERY small and negligible.
