Good performance/money SSD suggestion

I am planning on buying an SSD mostly for storing applications, games, OS etc. Looking for something along the lines of 250 GB. At first I was considering the Samsung 850 pro but it seems a little overkill for what I am planning to do with it. I really don't trust the online shops advertising their hypothetical read/write speeds of the drives, and searching for their benchmarks would just take too long. I was hoping you guys might be able to suggest me a reliable 400-450 MB/s read/write 250 GB SSD that isn't as expensive as the Samsung 850 Pro.
