so i want to upgrade my pc mostly my processor motherboard and graphics card. I am a hardcore gamer and also studying 3d modeling. I am so confused after I researched about them cant decide what to buy. well I have also a tight budget it may take some time to get all the money to buy any of it and I have time too so please help me and give some good suggestions

Solution
okay if you think like that, here is the thing, people still dont know the exact specs of 8th gen intel, also intel might still wont made them unlocked, except for the highest i5 and i7 series as usual. you didnt say you will wait up to july, so i dont even know that thing. for sure i personally kinda hate intel now by how they playin with their product
ryzen could be the best bang for buck for now, cheap but has a lot of cores, graphics card depends on your needs, but getting pc components now is not really a good idea because of the price increase. for sure with really tight budget dont really think it is really possible to build workstation, maybe it can be done but with old xeon processor that usually sold for cheap, but the clock usually were pretty low which is bad for new titles games, also in some country it is pretty hard to get server motherboard for xeon

yes u are right but I was thinking I should wait for the 8th gen i5 and gtx 2060. In that time I can probably buy those with my savings . Ryzen is very good now but I heard the new 8th gen intel's are going to beat them. I am not sure about it though and for gpu we all know volta is coming

man the 8th gen would still took pretty long to roll out i bet, or probably faster if intel really optimistic to beat amd. usually intel processor took pretty long to be sold in the market after the announcement. also it will took pretty long still for the next gen nvidia graphics card to roll out, its way too soon if you ask some suggestion for new build but expecting to build it with such parts that havent even exist now, some chance it will take like 1 year for them all to be sold in the market

Tbh it all depends on Price vs Performance.I just finished a quote for a friend.I wanted to setup and build a Ryzen 3 but the pc\s shipping far away and the only shop close to them are a retailer selling intel parts. Now the Ryzen 3 wouldve cost around 4k(excluding gfx card)So on i went as they want it just for gaming for young kids we went with intel g4560.Now in total the pc's gonna cost him around 6.5k(ex gfx card).Everything goes about price to performance i personally could care less about make or model.I am not willing to pay 2-3k more for something that's 10-15% faster.(Not reffering to the Ryzen 3 vs the g4560 as we all know who would win that 😛)

I also personally think that amd will answer intels challenge with a new cpu. There I9's was such a bad decision in my opinion.Freaking starting price here 20k

what i9 is 20k there ? 20k what,USD ? here in India its more than 80k INR

what you saying is right but Haste makes waste. I will wait upto July next year anyway coz i am saving up to buy them so if i can get better solution in that time i will go for it. thats why i said i will get 8th gen and again 8th gen i5 coming with 6 core so thats also a reason for to wait
