I mean it's rated 80 bronze and has decent specifications for it. I wouldn't trust it personally, especially with new components, but if you got good price then go for it - as long as it's not used.

It technically could work, but it would be unstable. Under full usage it could randomly shutdown or just generally give you low performance relative to what everyone else is getting.
If your 970 has an 8-pin and 6-pin it needs both using a 6-pin instead of an 8 will not work. With the 2 pins missing you'd get a error message to plugin the pci-e power connector.
Depending on how long and how its been used it will not output the same wattage as a new one especially if its already a weak one from a non reputable company.
