Hello, I'm building my first PC and I'm stuck when choosing the good PSU for it.
Here's the config :
CPU : Ryzen 1700
GPU : MSI GTX 1060 6gb
Mobo : MSI B350 Tomahawk
RAM : Hyperx Fury 8gb (2x4gb) 2133
Storage : WD Blue 1TB
Case : Rosewill Challenger S

What PSU should I get ? A Corsair 450w ? 550w ? Another brand ?

Idk but in pcpartpicker, the max consumation with Corsair 450w and without overclocking the system is about 280w. Shouldn't I be okay when I'll overclock ?

I'm not going to use my pc only in gaming purposes, and my budget is around 1300 CAD$. The core i7 needs a pretty expensive Mobo to be overclocked and it's has 4cores and 8threads in comparaison to the ryzen, wich is 8cores and 16 threads. Editing, rendering and making large projects will be, I think, better on a ryzen 1700 :)

As i said, you should be good with 450w as well. But some people tend to attach a lot of peripheral devices later on. Also in case you decide to overclcok the gpu, you have to account for that as well. So, either should be okay.

Is the Seasonic M12II 520w a good deal ?
