I will either be getting a i5-4460 or i5-4690 (locked as I don't plan on overclocking and on a budget, any help on this would be nice) along with a GTX 960 and want to know what PSU I should get out of Corsair 550W VS series PSU or Corsair 650W CS series PSU?
Thanks in advance

I mean it would probably be ok if you HAD to, but do you really have to? Can you not get the cheaper AND much better Antec that I linked you?
Go with the i5 4460 and a H97 motherboard. Is it going to be the GTX960 or GTX970? Neither of those Corsair psus are very good.

Get this instead - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371031&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

My bad, I thought it was tier 2b. Still, I won't be OCing, it's 650W 80+ gold rated so wouldn't it be good enough for a GTX 970 and i5-4460? (mid-high range CPU & GPU which aren't very high in demand for wattage unlike AMD)

Its just I'm getting a bundle which only includes those two PSU's without overspending on a 850W PSU unfortunately. Thanks for the advice anyway, i'll try and alter it
