just wondering if any one knew of a good type of ram for a evga 790i 775 socket motherboard
and if this board would be any good for overclocking a intel q9650

It should do so pretty easily... I have a Q9550 and an Evga 750 Sli FTW, and it's been perfect coupling since the very beginning, so you shouldnt run into any problem at all. For starters, let the board handle the memory timing and voltages by leaving them at auto, and then do the refinement as you want when you hit you desired and stable CPU clock/speed...

thanks soz ta be a pest but going back to the ram do ya think ocz14400 1800mhz would be any good for this board an i was also thinkin of upgrading to a 64 bit op system to get the use of all the ram space on this board do ya thinks its worth it if so what performance increase cuold i expect in gaming with a 64 bit op system an 6gb ram
thanks?
