Hello,
I'm planning on taking one BenQ XL2411T ( or 20TE when they start selling them in my country ) monitor as my main, gaming display.
I would like to get a good IPS display for every graphic/video editing ( mainly for pure CGI ) as a companion screen, probably a 8-bit one ( hence the S or P ips in the title ). However, I do not have the smallest clue as where to look.
It needs to be a 24'' screen to match the BenQ. In an ideal world, max resolution would be 1920x1080 to avoid lost or distorted screenspace when dual monitoring as the BenQ will be limited to 1080p. Still in an ideal world, I'd like a good response time since I'd need to display video or even have some gaming possibilities should I go in the future for some 2D surround or should I like the IPS monitor the most.
I heard about the Dell Ultrasharp series, but they go for a 16/10 ratio. They are also quite expensive, and I still have to buy a desk, the BenQ, and probably a new GPU...
I was recommended to look into the Viewsonic's, but I just don't know where to start.
Any thoughts ?
I'm even open to suggestions not precisely matching my criteria, as long as you don't think it would be such an issue 😉
