I have already purchased all parts necessary to build an x99 system with an overclocked 5960x, as well as 4 r9 290's. Don't worry about cooling, liquid has got me covered there. What I am worried about is power.
I have a solid 1200w psu to power the whole thing, but if I ever want to overclock my r9 290's I am essentially screwed because the power would go over 1200w. My case, the Phanteks Enthoo Primo, supports dual power supplies.
While I understand that dual power supplies are rarely the best option, I am basically out of money for this loop besides the cost of a 500 - 1000w power supply. In other words, I can't buy some 1600w power supply, only an additional smaller one. I already have a cable to hook up the two psus to run along side each other.
What I'm looking for is a recommendation on an 80+ Gold or better power supply that plays nice with another one in the system for <$100. I live near a microcenter if they happen to have one, though ideally I would order it online.
