I just finished my computer. It has 6gb of ram (don't know speed), 1tb hard drive, intel i3 3220, 520 watt dynex psu, and a sapphire Radeon 6850, Total investment was around $330. I got 60 frames per second on Just Cause 2 and Dead Island. I was wondering if this is a good setup for the money spent. Also taking suggestions on upgrades that won't break the bank. Thanks

Actually... this is quite well but you could have made it cheaper with an AMD CPU, I mean look at the differences in this comparison! Intel Quad-Core @3.06GHz VS AMD FX Quad-Core @3.8

But then you need a new MOBO

Another good GPU is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130763 bang for the buck wise its better and its NVIDIA! It is pricey! Hope I...

prett nice setup i would have gon with a quad core amd my self but i3 is fine but i will suggest this for your gpu only 150$ and is a pretty nice gpu for the money and btw it crossfires pretty well 2 of these will beat out a 7970 easily so you cant go wrong if your on a budget

Edit:what resolution are you running at? because if 720p this by itself will last you a LONG time but if 1080p you should crossfire in the future

Ya my friends boots up in 8 seconds
